Russian Roulette Magazine Great Gatsby Party in London Opera Gallery
December 2018, Opera Gallery in London has welcomed a busy swarm of UHNWI, who came to celebrate a great upcoming year with the Russian Roulette Magazine in swanky Gatsby style.
Dancing ladies in Martini glasses were not allowed into the gallery because of the artworks’ security concerns, but some guests themselves, including the editor in chief Olga Mayr, looked like an artwork form Great Gatsby era.
There no wall with logos, where everyone was forced to take photos, there was no “ah we are so wonderful” speeches, because that’s not what those guests came for, there was no gift bags with unnecessary clutter that will end up in a trash (except for gift bags themselves, they usually are saved). But there was lots of great champagne, black caviar, hats, glitter, David Bowie and other modern art, live music, ostrich feathers, wonderful atmosphere and lots of fun! We also didn’t have a charity auction and didn’t collect money for anything, we just spent it. Because at least once a year you can be selfish and simply have fun for yourself and yourself only.
Entry — by invitation only. Among guests: finance and hedge fund elite from London and Paris, prominent Russian speaking emigres, baroness and a viscount.
