The evening started with a glamorous cocktail on a roof top of the Yacht Club, where nine chefs prepared their selection of delicious appetisers accompanied by Prince Henri d’Orléans Champagne, Cuvée Héritage 2006.
after the cocktail, fine wines from Châteauneuf-du-Pape brightened up the evening — about four thousands of glasses been served during the night.

Among guests: Pietro Satanino, best sommelier in the world, and Fabrice Sommier, President of the Union of the Sommellerie Française.
I won’t exaggerate saying, that guests enjoyed the event till 2:30 am, and some stayed even longer sipping exclusive liqueurs and fine cigars at the panoramic terrace of the Yacht Club.
Interesting fact: Monegasque Association of Sommelier has its own Anthem, created by the Conductor of the Prince’s Carabineers under the great benevolence of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco.
